Lara announces Chile’s 12-player roster for U18 Americas Championship

"At the FIBA U18 Americas Championship will have a solid team, in defense and offense. Within each role that the players must assume, there will be specific functions. However, character, technical skills and the ability to integrate the full team must prevail,” said Lara.
After being drawn to Group B, Chile will start the continental competition against Ecuador and will then face Argentina and Canada to close-out the Group Phase. Dominican Republic, Panama, Puerto Rico and the USA make-up Group A.
The FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018 will qualify the top four teams to the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2019.
