ABIDJAN (Cote d'Ivoire) - The media accreditation process for the third and last window of the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers is now open.

The games will take place from February 17-21, 2021 in Yaounde, Cameroon and Monastir, Tunisia.

All media representatives, local and international, wishing to attend the event should apply through the FIBA Media Portal by February 15, 2021. No other form of application will be accepted.  

COVID-19 MEASURES

Please, note that all accredited media are expected to fully respect and comply with COVID-19 related guidelines which, among others, may restrict access to certain areas inside the venue. In some cases, if required by local authorities, the number of media accredited may have to be reduced even after approval, at the discretion of the host.
Guidelines will be forwarded to accredited media following their accreditation approval.
 
Please consider that depending on the destination, a negative PCR test may have to be presented before collecting your accreditation.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Log-in to the FIBA Media Portal or if you are a new user, create a new profile;
2. Select "FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers" under the "My Events" section (normally to be found at the top of profile page);
3. Complete all registration fields as necessary;
4. Make sure that all tabs are filled out correctly and the information is saved. Following registration, you should receive an accreditation submission confirmation email;
5. Creating a profile or logging in to a previous existing account is not an application in itself; you must make certain that after you create a profile (account) you also proceed to apply for the event (as per steps #1-4).
