COTONOU(Benin) - Tunisian giants Etoile Sportive de Rades on Saturday became the seventh team to seal through the FIBA Africa Basketball League Elite 8 as they saw off Nigerian side Civil Defenders 96-80.

As result the Tunisian side who beat hosts Elan Sportif 71-55 on Friday improve their mark to 2-0 with one game left.

Senegal's center Elhaji Amadou Mbodji was clinical for ES Rades as he led the floor with game-high 26 points and 7 rebounds.  

His teammates, Nicholas Simon West who fouled out midday into the fourth quarter and guard Omar Mouhli added 15 and 13 points respectively for their side well deserved win.

The trio of Civil Defenders Ibe Abuchi Agu, Ocheibi Okpe and Umar Garba impressive showing with 22, 18 and 17 points was not enough to save their side from defeat.
