BAMAKO (FIBA U18 African Championship 2018) - Friday's FIBA U18 African Championship action in Bamako not only saw four countries moving on to the Semi-Finals, but it also offered a number of eye-catching performances. 

A week into the eleven-nation competition, which will crown the African champion as well as the two countries that will represent the continent at next year's FIBA Basketball U19 World Cup, we have a full picture of some of the most outstanding players, and teams. 

Here's a recap of Friday's Top five performances at FIBA U18 African Championship.

Biram Faye (Senegal)

It starts to begin a business as usual for Senegal's Biram Faye, who finished with a game-high 25 points and 16 rebounds, leading Senegal to an 87-52 triumph over Libya.

It was Faye's fourth straight double-double as Senegal extended their winning streak to 5-0 ahead of Saturday's Semi-Final.

Guinea

One thing Guineans are certain of is they will not finish last in the competition. After five successive defeats, Guinea came up strong on Friday beating Algeria 77-70 in the battle for the Tenth-Place.

Aboubacar Faraban Camara became the second player in the tournament to score 31 points while adding six rebounds to his account. 

Guinea will face Uganda next in the Ninth-Place battle.

Angola

They say never underestimate the heart of a champion.

After losing by a point against Senegal in their Group B opener, reigning champions Angola responded with four straight wins, and are now set to compete for a spot in the Final.

Inspired by a tremendous team effort, Angola on Friday shut down DR Congo's scoring-machine Pierre Kasereka - who finished with his tournament-low 17 points - to secure a 62-44 win and, in the process, keep their World Cup aspirations alive. 

Momen Mohamed Hassan (Egypt)

Hassan stepped up when Egypt needed him most. A real leader, the 17-year-old may not have finished as the top scorer in Friday's Quarter-Final triumph over Rwanda, but his three-pointers proved crucial, ensuring the Pharaohs their place in the Semi-Finals where they will take on front-runners Senegal.

Unstoppable Mali

Hosts Mali secured their sixth straight win, outscoring Tunisia 105-54 to set up an highly-anticipated Semi-Final against defending champions Angola.

Abdoul Karim Coulibaly finished with game-highs 22 points and 12 rebounds as Mali established a tournament-best  30 assists.
