How to Qualify

Beira, city of Mozambique will host the final round of U16 Women's Africa Championship this year. Five teams will take part in tournament. The first round will be played in a round-robin format.

Beira, a city located 720 km from Maputo, the capital of Mozambique will host from 04 to 12 August , the 5th  edition of FIBA Women's U16 African Championship 2017. 12 national female teams of under 16 including Mali (defending champion) will take part of this competition and the two top teams will be qualified for the FIBA U17 Women's  Basketball World Cup 2018
