Competition Format

Men

  • 3 tickets to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup available

  • 8 teams divided into 2 pools of 4 and seeded automatically based on the April 1, 2018 3x3 Federation Ranking

  • All teams play every other in their respective pools

  • The two first teams from each pool advance to the semi-finals

  • The winners of each semi-final advance to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup

  • The semi-finals losers play a third-place game for the third and final ticket to Bucharest

Women

  • 4 tickets to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup available

  • 9 teams divided in 1 pool of 4 and 1 pool of 5 and seeded automatically based on the April 1, 2018 3x3 Federation Ranking

  • All teams play every other in their respective pools
  • The 2 pool winners qualify directly to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup.
  • The 2nd and 3rd in each pool play a semi-final (2nd in Pool A vs 3rd in Pool B and 3rd in Pool A vs 2nd in Pool B)

  • The winners of these 2 games also make it to Bucharest.

    In all Qualifiers, teams will not continue playing games after they have qualified or have been eliminated from contention.
