SHENZHEN (FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018) - Fook Yee Yap struck gold for Malaysia at the Shoot-Out Contest of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018 in Shenzhen, China on May 1, 2018. 

Fook Yee tallied 11 points in under a minute, just one more than runner-up Emir Azizov from Uzbekistan. Rounding out the top three was South Korea's Min Seob Kim with 9 points. Fourth was Australia's Madeleine Garrick, who scored 8.

Even more impressive: it's the second time in a row Fook Yee Yap wins gold for Malaysia at the Shoot-Out competition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup after winning the 2017 edition in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

FIBA
