About the event

The FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2017 will take place in Lomé, Togo on November 3-5 2017.

Togo will host the first edition of the most important 3x3 competition for national teams in Africa. 

This will mark the first time ever Togo hosts a FIBA 3x3 official event.

Contrary to the "open" network of tournaments (which includes the FIBA 3x3 World Tour), players taking part in the FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup do not create the team themselves, but instead are selected by their national federations to represent their countries.

In order to be eligible, players who compete in the 3x3 Africa Cup must be registered on play.fiba3x3.com and have the nationality of the country they represent.
