3x3 Competition Network Structure
The structure of the worldwide 3x3 Competition Network - composed of all FIBA-endorsed 3x3 events - is divided into ten colour-coded levels competitions, and which belong to three distinct competition types:
-FIBA 3x3 World Tour and all events on the Road to the World Tour
-Other city-based events not on the Road to the World Tour
-FIBA 3x3 World Cups and other National-Team-related events
To focus on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and related events on the Road to the World Tour, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour (black) sits at the top of an "open" network of FIBA-endorsed events, with the best teams from qualifiers held all over the world gaining a ticket to compete in the World Tour Masters tournaments and if successful, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final.
There are two types of competitions that qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, known collectively as World Tour Qualifiers: Challengers and Quests' Final events (both red).
Quests are multi-tournament tours, with a set number of regular events (purple) and a Final (red) that qualifies one or several teams directly to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
Challengers (red) stand-alone international events that source the best teams from Satellites Finals (brown) and that qualify one or several teams to the FIBA 3X3 World Tour (black).
